Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be referred by my doctor?

Most policies require a referral to us from your GP, Consultant or your Private Healthcare Provider Team.

If you have private healthcare insurance then most policies require a referral to us from your GP or Consultant. We are registered practitioners with most health insurance companies – please click here for more details.

What should I wear to my appointment?
We recommend you wear loose comfortable clothing (ideally vest and shorts) to allow us to assess you properly.  We want you to feel comfortable at all times during your treatment and have both male and female physiotherapists available. You are more than welcome to bring a friend or relative along to your appointment.
How do I pay for my treatment?

Self-funding patients are required to settle with us on the day by Cash, Cheque or BACS transfer.  At present we do not accept payment by card. Receipts are available upon request.

Most Private Health Insurance companies ask us to bill them directly. We will need you to provide us with your policy membership number, physiotherapy treatment authorisation code and number of sessions permitted. Dependent on your policy type you may be required to pay your policy excess to us directly.

Cancellations and missed appointments
If you miss or cancel an appointment within 24 hours you will be charged for the session as per our cancellation policy.
Is there parking close by?
There is plenty of free parking available on either side of Dymchurch Road
